Safeguarding Officer Training
The Safeguarding Officer Training is for appointed officers from sporting organisations in Singapore.
The training is a facilitated by a certified Psychological First Aid trainer with a background in child protection and equips officers with the relevant skills to respond to affected parties and manage disclosures of abuse.
Hybrid Format

Online - self directed learning (12 hours)

Online - classroom with facilitator (0.5 day)

Pre Training Requirements
Safeguarding Officers are required to complete the Safeguarding Officer e-learning module on SportSG-ED (different to the Safe Sport Awareness Modules) as a pre-requisite to the classroom training where officers will be assessed on their skills. The Safe Sport team will grant you access to the e-learning when your registration has been confirmed.
This training is chargeable for non-member organisations of the Safe Sport Programme.
